My son is a commercial fisherman in Chatham. One year, I decided to surprise him with a model of his Novi fishing boat, the F/V Jack Tar. As I didn’t have any plans for the boat, I began by taking photos of every angle of the hull while the boat was hauled out. I then clandestinely rowed out to the boat when my son wasn’t fishing to get more detailed shots.
